Happy New Year with la bohème
In January 2026, Daegu Opera House opens the new year with La Bohème, produced by the Gwangju Metropolitan Opera as part of the Moonlight Alliance, a cultural exchange project between Daegu and Gwangju.La Bohème, one of Puccini’s greatest works, beautifully portrays love, youth, and artistic life in wintertime Paris, and remains a classic opera performed worldwide.
Heekyung Park, Haeun Kim, and Kyubo Na - Soloists from Daegu Opera House Opernstudio presented a trio concert on December 5 at Western University in London, Canada by invitation. Pf. Kyung Kim accompanied the performance, with Joshua Zabatta Stanton as a special guest. The concert was presented as part of the Daegu–London UNESCO Creative Cities of Music and the Young Artist Exchange Agreement with Western University. Featuring a diverse program including Korean art songs, the performance received a standing ovation from the entire audience.
