1️⃣ DIOF This week : <La Traviata>🍷
La Traviata tells the story of Violetta, a high-class courtesan who discovers true love after meeting Alfredo.
It critiques the hypocrisy of society and features famous arias like "Brindisi" and "Sempre libera."
Through 'Korea Moonlight Alliance' between Daegu and Gwangju,
a high-quality production by Gwangju Metropolitan Opera will be presented.
Daegu Opera House's Creative Opera has come out!
Daegu Opera House has unveiled its Creative Opera after 3 years of research,
depicting the life of the Korean poet 264 during the Japanese Colonial Period.
It features lyrical harmonies of traditional Korean melodies and the stage blends modern&historical textures.
A emotional moment occurred when 264's daughter, Lee Ok-bi, attended the end of performance.
<264, That One Star> will be streamed worldwide on December 13 through OperaVision.
